Most compressors are lightweight
and durable, the sole purpose of a compressor or "compressor
nebulizer" is to provide a source gas to the medication
cup or the nebulizer. The source gas is room air and it is used
to move the liquid medication against a baffle in the nebulizer.
This process forces the liquid to "break up" into a
particulate form. The effectiveness of this is measured in "microns".
A lot of technical jargon for particle size.
What you need to know is that the gas source
must have an output of at minimum six liters per minute or greater.
There are several units on the market today but the Pari Nebulizer
Compressor has been the best performer and the three year
warranty is the best in the industry.
